Samsung has launched its drop and water proof tablet new Galaxy Tab
Active 2 in India for Rs. 50990. The device has received MIL-STD-840G
certification which meets the military standard requirements for drops,
vibration, excessive external pressure and it also comes with 1.2m
anti-shock inbox protective cover. Furthermore, the device also gets
IP68 certification for dust and water
resistance.
For security purpose, samsung has provided defence grade Knox security platform which will help in keeping the sensitive information safe against malware and hackers. It has a fingerprint scanner along with facial recognition for hands-free unlocking. Like the Samsung Galaxy Note series, even this tablet will be featuring an S Pen Stylus which is also IP68 certified to work in extreme conditions. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 is equipped with a replaceable battery and Pogo pin. With the help of Pogo Pin connector, users can easily charge more than two devices or can easily attach a laptop keyboard
